Vladir's Hussar Noodles

 


Ingredients:

  • 250g of noodles
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, washed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cooking the noodles:

    • In a large pot, boil water with salt and add the noodles. Cook them according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Preparing the sauce:

    • In a small bowl, mix Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, white wine vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Ensure the sauce is well combined.
  3. Sautéing the strawberries:

    • In a large skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Add the halved strawberries and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until they start releasing their juices but are still firm.
  4. Adding the sauce and noodles:

    • Reduce the heat and add the prepared sauce to the strawberries. Gently stir until the strawberries are well coated with the sauce.
    • Add the boiled noodles to the skillet and mix well to ensure all ingredients are integrated, and the noodles are coated with the delicious sauce.
  5. Serve and garnish:

    • Plate Vlardir's Hussar Noodles and optionally sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top for an extra burst of flavor.
